Our very own Emiliano Vitale has capitalized on his ever-increasing international profile & reputation, winning the Best Commercial Collection category in the 2011/2012 Association of International Professional Hairdressing Press (AIPP) Grand Trophy Awards; one of the most prestigious hairdressing competitions in the world!

This is Emiliano’s 2nd consecutive award win in the AIPP awards – he won Best Men’s Collection in 2010 – truly cementing his place as one of the world’s most influential hairdressers and trendsetters.

“Winning my first AIPP award in 2010 was an absolute dream come true, however winning my 2nd award in a completely different category one year later, is simply crazy!!” Says Emiliano. “This was the wildest of dreams, and although when you are a finalist you always think you have a chance, I was competing against such talent and some of the best hairdressers in the world, I was honestly just pleased to be a finalist.”

The 2011/2012 awards received a record 416 photo collections from 21 countries, further sweetening Emiliano’s win.

“The presentation of the award is extra special for me this year. It is being presented at the Alternative Hair Show at the Royal Albert Hall in London, in front of 4500 hairdresser’s from around the world and where the é SALON team is showcasing that evening,” says Emiliano. “I am so pleased and proud that my Mum and Dad will be there in the audience to witness the whole thing. That is my dream come true.”
